Welcome to Gillwood Remanufacturing Inc. (formerly Uneeda Wood Products).
The company began operations as Uneeda Wood Products in 1965 in Burnaby, BC with two wood moulders and a rip saw providing value-added custom services to the lumber industry. In 1975 the company moved to Chilliwack, BC and added two additional moulders and 12 dry kilns.
In 1996 more improvements were made with two finger joint lines. A planer was added in 1999.
In 2011 the company was acquired by new owners and the name was changed to Gillwood Remanufacturing Inc. Although the Uneeda name has been retired the company continues the legacy of being a premier custom remanufacturing facility.
Situated on 33 acres (15 hectares) of company-owned land in the heart of the Fraser Valley just one hour’s drive east from Vancouver, Gillwood has 160,000 square feet of dry storage, an experienced work force, a reputation for good service and quality control, able to ship and receive shipments by rail (BC Southern R/R) or truck, able to load containers, LISA inventory control system and is PEFC/SFI/CSA (Chain of Custody) certified. The Company has many long term customers which is a testament to its reputation of providing quality service at competitive prices over the years. Gillwood believes in adding value, not cost. Customer loyalty is its greatest asset.
