UTS Consultants Inc. is an affiliate company of Oakville Hydro Corporation. It was founded in 1992 by Wayne Groves to fill a need for better solutions to the Telecommunications Industry’s ongoing requirements for plant extension and modernization. With many years of experience working with Civil Engineering firms and Municipalities, UTS is comprised of Engineers and Technicians that are sensitive to the needs of both the network operator and the approving authority and understands the priorities of both. Few can boast an approval record equal to ours.

UTS recognizes the importance of accurate fieldwork and the foundation it becomes for a complete engineering solution. UTS’ field technicians are fully capable of using standard manual measurement methods or with the latest Total Station/RTK Topographic Survey equipment to CAD base and final plans incorporating a variety of industry specific software.

Our projects range from simple cable placing plans, to manhole rebuilds to full pole line engineering and re-engineering that is fully compliant with Ontario’s latest ESA 22/04 and CSA requirements including non-linear calculations. We have become an industry leader in pole line structural engineering to meet the requirements of Ontario Regulation (ESA) 22/04 and we have successfully completed aerial projects in over 30 Hydro Distribution service areas.

Our staff is complimented by technical and clerical resources with the expertise to suit individual project requirements. On multi-disciplined projects our experience includes building project teams by combining our talents with those of other Engineering Specialists whose specific area of competence best meets the needs of our clients. Longer term projects will have a dedicated project team with ongoing regular client reporting to ensure a ‘no surprises’ solution. UTS will provide a single point of contact for all clients and all projects, no matter how large or small.itary aircraft, helicopters and other platforms. In 2012, UTC Aerospace Systems was formed by combining two industry leaders, Hamilton Sundstrand and Goodrich, creating an organization with key positions on a wide range of aircraft flying today and substantial content on various UAVs, satellites and ground and naval vehicles.

Our customers include original equipment manufacturers that build aircraft and helicopters, engine manufacturers, and airlines, as well as defense agencies and contractors. Our commitment is to help them develop and maintain safer, lighter, more reliable and more efficient aircraft and other platforms.
