Wright Environmental Management Inc. was founded in 1992, and with more than 55 installations in United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, Wright is the world's largest supplier of completely-enclosed, continuous composting systems.
Wright provides composting solutions to customers with municipal solid wastes (also called mixed solid waste or MSW), biosolids, food and agricultural wastes, yard wastes and animal processing waste. Customers include municipalities operating waste processing facilities, companies operating waste transfer, processing and energy from waste facilities and institutions processing their own waste on-site, such as prisons, hospitals, colleges, military bases and corporations.
Wright has customers throughout North America and the United Kingdom and they include: Reedy Creek Improvement District (Walt Disney World), Island Waste Services (U.K.), NASA, the Canadian Forces, Aberdeenshire Council (Scotland), Allegheny College, Capital Compost and Waste Reduction Services LLC, and the Virginia Department of Corrections.
Wright technology is proven, cost-effective and proprietary with 23 worldwide patents (including several process patents). Wright's systems are completely scalable and suited to installations where requirements range from 600 pounds per day to hundreds of tons of waste per day.
Wright systems use a patented continuous loading process, a patented airflow process, a patented leachate recirculation technology, a patented aeration process using proprietary spinners and moisture management technology and a patented technology creating temperature zones which meet EPA standards and the pending EC 70 degree standard.
Using an accelerated aerobic composting process, Wright systems typically operate on a 14-day retention cycle. Wright systems are fully self-contained, and require no additional enclosure structures.
