Holley Home Inspections

 In 2009, after 30 years of building quality new homes and renovating old ones, Mike Holley decided to change his focus. Instead of building homes, he wanted to focus on inspecting them – on making sure that new and young home buyers got what they paid for and received no nasty surprises after making their purchase.

Mike became a certified home inspector. He applied for, and passed, the necessary inspection certifications for the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors (CAHPI) and the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI) and subsequently “interned” with one of Ontario’s largest professional home inspector agencies. Around his 30 years of experience, and his certifications, he formed Holley Home Inspections.

The idea for Mike’s home inspection business was to focus his experience and skills on inspecting homes in west Toronto – the same area where he had spent years renovating or building homes of every type. His idea was particularly to cater to new buyers – the less experienced buyer - and to make sure new home buyers had a first-rate and thorough inspection, but also a resource to consult after the purchase as they begin to confront the realities of their new purchase.

Today, Mike inspects dozens of homes a week and enjoys the privilege of helping home buyers, home sellers, and real estate agents complete quality-based purchase transactions.
